This Smart IoT Battery Management System allows users to monitor the health and status of batteries in real time using ESP32 or ESP8266. It tracks voltage, current, temperature, and other parameters, transmitting the data to the cloud for easy access via a mobile app or web dashboard. The system ensures better battery life, efficiency, and safety, especially in off-grid or remote battery systems

  • ESP32 or ESP8266 NodeMCU—core microcontroller for data processing and Wi-Fi connectivity

  • Voltage Sensor (ZMPT101B or similar)—Measures battery voltage

  • Current Sensor (ACS712)—Measures battery charging/discharging current

  • Temperature Sensor (LM35 or Monitors battery temperature to prevent overheating

  • Relay Module—Used for auto cutoff when voltage exceeds safe levels

  • OLED Display (Optional) – Displays live voltage, current, and temperature data

  • Breadboard/PCB & Jumper Wires—For circuit connections

  • Power Supply/Battery Pack—To power the system

How It Works:

  • Sensors Read Data – The system uses sensors to monitor voltage, current, and temperature.

  • ESP32 / ESP8266 – These microcontrollers read the sensor values and process the data.

  • Cloud Upload – Data is sent to platforms like Blynk, Thingspeak, or Firebase using Wi-Fi.

  • Monitoring Dashboard – View real-time data via mobile or desktop app.

  • Alerts & Safety – Sends alerts if battery conditions are unsafe (low voltage, high temp, etc.).

  • Optional Auto Cutoff – Relay can disconnect the load automatically in critical conditions.
