Project Description
This project develops a demo CubeSat focused on weather imaging and transmission of environmental data to Earth. It uses an STM32 microcontroller combined with sensors including a magnetometer for orientation, an infrared sensor to detect solar winds, a temperature sensor for orbital temperature, and a camera to capture live Earth footage. The CubeSat's body is a cubical frame housing solar panels for self-charging with power stored in a battery managed by charging circuitry to prevent overcharge. Data and video are transmitted via a 2.4GHz RF transmitter to a ground station with an RF receiver and LCD displays for live monitoring and analysis. The design excludes an attitude control system, emphasizing data gathering and telemetry.
