Project Idea
This project aims to save energy by detecting vehicle movement on highways and controlling street light operation. Lights ahead of the vehicle are switched ON, while trailing lights turn OFF automatically. An alternative mode keeps lights at 10% brightness, increasing to 100% when a vehicle passes, then returning to 10%. The system uses sensors, PWM, and an 8051 microcontroller for efficient lighting control.
