Project Idea
This project allows you to control electrical appliances using a standard TV remote. It uses RC5-coded infrared signals received by an IR sensor connected to an 8051 microcontroller. The microcontroller processes the signal and activates appliances via relay circuits, making it ideal for elderly or physically challenged people to operate devices without moving to wall switches.
