Project Idea:
This wearable ID card helps maintain safe social distancing by alerting users when others are too close. Using an ultrasonic sensor and Atmega328 microcontroller, the system detects nearby objects and triggers a buzzer with intensity proportional to proximity. It’s ideal for workplaces, schools, and crowds to help ensure health safety post-pandemic.
Project Description:
The system continuously measures distance using an HC-SR04 ultrasonic sensor. When the distance falls below a predefined threshold, the Atmega328 microcontroller activates a buzzer and LED to warn the user. The closer the detected person, the faster the buzzer beeps. The setup is compact, wearable, and battery-powered, suitable for personal use and portable applications.
