Project Description:
The IoT-Based Smart Retail Shelf Monitoring System uses IR sensors placed on shelves to detect product stock levels. A Node MCU ESP32 microcontroller collects sensor data and sends real-time updates to a cloud platform (Blynk). Store managers can monitor stock status on a smartphone dashboard and receive alerts when stock falls below a predefined threshold. This system helps automate inventory checks, improve replenishment cycles, and supports efficient shelf space utilization, making it ideal for smart retail stores and supermarkets.
