Project Idea

Develop a smart refrigerator system that uses IoT to monitor internal temperature, humidity, and item inventory. This system helps in food preservation, alerts users about open doors, and even sends notifications when items run low—making food management smarter and more efficient.

 

Project Description

The IoT-Based Smart Refrigerator project uses sensors and a Node MCU ( ESP32) to monitor key internal parameters such as temperature and humidity. It includes features like door status detection . Data is sent to a cloud platform (like Blynk,) allowing users to monitor and manage the fridge remotely using a smartphone. Alerts can be generated when the temperature rises beyond safe levels or when specific items are missing. This system not only prevents food spoilage but also promotes energy efficiency and smarter inventory control.
