Develop an IoT-based smart pet health monitoring system that tracks a pet’s vital signs, activity levels, location, and environmental conditions, providing real-time updates and alerts to pet owners to ensure their pet’s well-being and safety.
Project Description
The IoT-Based Smart Pet Health Monitor uses wearable sensors and cloud connectivity to track a pet’s heart rate, body temperature, movement, and location. The device can detect abnormal health patterns such as fever, lethargy, or irregular heartbeats, and send instant alerts to the owner’s smartphone. Integrated GPS allows real-time location tracking, while environmental sensors monitor surrounding temperature and humidity to prevent heatstroke or cold-related issues. The data is stored and analyzed on a cloud platform, offering health history, trends, and reminders for vet visits, feeding schedules, and vaccinations. The system can be worn as a smart collar or harness and is lightweight for pet comfort.
