Project Idea:

This project allows users to control home appliances such as lights, fans, or lamps using an Android application. By using Bluetooth communication, the system helps elderly and handicapped people easily operate electrical switches without manual effort.

 

Project Description:

The system is based on the 8051 microcontroller interfaced with a Bluetooth module. The Android application sends commands wirelessly, which are received by the Bluetooth module and processed by the microcontroller. The microcontroller then activates or deactivates the connected appliances through relays and a relay driver circuit. The system runs on a regulated +5V DC supply derived from a transformer, rectifier, filter, and voltage regulator circuit. The Android app provides a user-friendly interface, ensuring reliable wireless control over household loads. This project is suitable for domestic automation and can also be extended to small-scale industrial applications.
