This system integrates various sensors like temperature, humidity, soil moisture, and light sensors to collect real-time data inside the greenhouse. These sensors are connected to a microcontroller such as the ESP32 or ESP8266, which processes the data and uploads it to an IoT platform (e.g., Blynk or ThingSpeak).

Based on predefined thresholds, the system can automatically trigger actions such as activating a water pump when the soil is dry, turning on a fan when the temperature exceeds a limit, or switching on artificial lights when sunlight is insufficient. Users can monitor all readings and control the devices through a smartphone application, making plant care convenient, smart, and efficient even from a remote location.

This smart greenhouse helps conserve resources like water, reduces manual labor, and ensures healthier plant growth by maintaining a consistent environment.

DHT11/DHT22 Sensor – Measures temperature and humidity inside the greenhouse.

Soil Moisture Sensor – Detects the moisture level of the soil.

Water Pump + Pipe – Automatically waters plants based on soil moisture.

Fan or Ventilation Unit – Regulates temperature/humidity inside.

Power Supply/Battery – To power the entire system.

 

How it Works:

The sensors continuously monitor environmental factors like temperature, humidity, soil moisture, and light. The ESP32/8266 processes this data and sends it to a mobile app like Blynk. If moisture drops below a set level, the system automatically activates the pump. Similarly, ventilation or lighting is turned on/off based on preset conditions. It ensures optimal growth conditions remotely and efficiently.
