Based on this data, the system activates devices like fans, sprinklers, or grow lights to maintain optimal conditions for plant growth. It helps reduce manual labor, improves crop yield, and provides remote monitoring and control via a smartphone or web interface.
Project Description
This project implements an IoT-based smart greenhouse system using Arduino or NodeMCU, integrated with multiple sensors and actuators. The system constantly monitors key environmental parameters including temperature, humidity, soil moisture, and light intensity. If the readings cross predefined thresholds, corresponding actions like activating fans, turning on grow lights, or starting irrigation are automatically triggered. The sensor data is transmitted to a cloud platform, allowing users to view it remotely and control the greenhouse from anywhere. The project demonstrates real-world applications of IoT in agriculture and sustainability.
