Project Description
This project is a gas leakage detection and alert system built using Arduino Uno and the MQ-2 gas sensor. When the sensor detects gas beyond a certain threshold, it activates a buzzer for immediate alert and sends an SMS using the SIM800L GSM module to a predefined mobile number. The system is powered by 18650 Li-Ion batteries and can be installed in kitchens, industries, or storage areas. It uses jumper wires and a breadboard for modularity and easy assembly. features like LEDs, LCD display, or relay control for automatic shutdown is also added.
