  • ESP32 / ESP8266 – Microcontroller with built-in Wi-Fi

  • Current Sensor (ACS712 or SCT-013) – Measures power usage

  • Relay Module – Turns devices ON or OFF automatically

  • DHT11 / DHT22 Sensor – Measures temperature and humidity

  • LDR Sensor – Detects light levels for smart lighting

  • LCD/OLED Display – Shows live data on energy use

  • IoT Platform (e.g., Blynk, Firebase) – For cloud monitoring and control

  • Power Supply (5V/12V) – Provides power to system

  • Breadboard & Jumper Wires – For circuit connections

 

How It Works

  • The current sensor detects how much electricity is being consumed.

  • ESP32 processes data and uploads it to a cloud platform.

  • If thresholds are crossed (e.g., high power use or high temperature), the relay can turn off specific devices.

  • The user can monitor usage on a smartphone app or web dashboard.

  • The system also automates lights/fans using LDR and DHT sensors.
