Smart Bee Hive Monitoring & Anti-Theft System
Project idea:
This project addresses the decline of bee populations by building a low-cost smart monitoring prototype. The system monitors air quality, climate conditions, and hive safety in real time. It uses an ESP32 microcontroller with multiple sensors to measure air pollution, temperature, humidity, rainfall, and light.
 
Additionally, the project includes anti-theft features using motion sensor. All data is transmitted wirelessly to the Blynk IoT Cloud, where students can view a live dashboard and receive instant alerts.
 
Project Features -
  1. Air Quality Monitoring → Detects polluted air using MQ-135 sensor.
  2. Climate Monitoring → Temperature & Humidity (DHT11), Rainfall (Rain Sensor), Light Level (LDR).
  3. Anti-Theft Alerts → Motion sensor detects hive movement and the system triggers alert.
  4. IoT Connectivity → ESP32 sends data to Blynk Cloud via Wi-Fi.
  5. Power Supply → To power the whole setup.
