Working Principle

The module consists of an LED connected in series with a 220Ω resistor, ensuring safe current flow.

  • Apply HIGH (VCC) to the signal pin → LED turns ON
  • Apply LOW (GND) → LED turns OFF

The module can be driven directly by:

  • Microcontroller GPIO pins
  • Power supply (for basic indication)

 

Notes:

  • Ensure correct polarity when supplying voltage
  • Avoid exceeding recommended voltage for long-term use. 
  • For long-term use, keep the voltage within 3.3V/5V range.
  • For PWM applications, brightness can be controlled via duty cycle
