Project Idea
The project is designed to create a robotic vehicle equipped with a manipulator arm, which can be controlled through a touch screen interface. It integrates RF communication to transmit commands and an 8051 microcontroller to execute vehicle movements as well as gripping actions.
Project Description
This project features a robotic vehicle that can be remotely operated using a touch screen display. The touch screen device acts as a transmitter, sending RF commands to the receiver on the robotic vehicle. The onboard 8051 microcontroller decodes the received signals and controls four DC motors via a driver IC. Two motors manage the vehicle’s movement, while the other two are dedicated to arm and gripper control. With an operational range of up to 220 meters, the robotic arm vehicle can move, grab, and lift objects effectively. This system demonstrates a practical combination of wireless communication, embedded control, and robotics for real-world applications.
