Project idea
A low-cost, wireless health monitor transmits body temperature and heartbeat from a bedside node to a receiver using RF, enabling continuous observation without frequent manual checks.
Project description
A digital temperature sensor and heartbeat sensor feed readings to an 8051, which encodes and displays data on an LCD and transmits it via an RF Tx module. The receiver decodes the data on a second 8051 and shows live vitals on an LCD, with a buzzer for threshold alerts and fully untethered bedside-to-desk operation.

Features
Wireless RF link for continuous bedside-to-desk monitoring with minimal power and simple antenna requirements.
Dual-LCD display (patient node and doctor’s receiver) with encoded data framing and buzzer alarms for abnormal vitals.
Modular build using standard 8051 C code, easy-to-replace socketed ICs, and breadboard/perfboard prototyping.
Applications
Remote ward vitals tracking for temperature and pulse in clinics and nursing stations.
Home-care monitoring kits, student labs, and rapid prototyping for biomedical telemetry.
Triage overflow and mobile screening setups where wired monitoring is impractical.
