This project focuses on real-time object detection using an ultrasonic sensor and an FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array) board. How It Works:
The Object Detection using Ultrasonic Sensor & FPGA project utilizes an HC-SR04 ultrasonic sensor to detect objects by emitting high-frequency sound waves and measuring the time taken for the echo to return. The FPGA processes this data in real-time, calculates the distance using the speed of sound formula, and triggers an output based on a predefined threshold. If an object is detected within the set range, the system activates LEDs, buzzers, or sends data to a connected device. This high-speed, efficient detection system is ideal for applications like smart automation, robotics, security systems, and industrial safety.
