💡 Project Idea:

We are entering a new era where robots are being actively used in transport, industrial automation, and military operations. This project presents a motion-controlled robotic vehicle with a pick and place arm and obstacle avoidance capabilities, designed to operate without pressing a single button.

 

The robot is controlled entirely through hand gestures using an accelerometer-based motion controller. The user can control both the movement of the robot and the pick-and-place arm using simple tilting hand motions. This removes the need for uncomfortable remotes or joysticks.

 

The system uses an Atmega microcontroller in the transmitter unit and an 8051 microcontroller in the receiver. The transmitter captures hand motion via an accelerometer sensor, and transmits the signals via RF modules to the robot, which then executes the corresponding motion actions — moving, turning, obstacle avoidance, and arm manipulation.
