Project idea: Build a dual‑controller weather node where Arduino Uno reads a DHT11 for temperature/humidity and a rain sensor module for precipitation, streams values to a Raspberry Pi via serial, and the Pi forwards them over Wi‑Fi to IOTGecko for live visualization. The approach simplifies field deployment by separating precise real‑time sensing on Arduino from network and cloud tasks on Raspberry Pi for robust, error‑free remote monitoring.​

 

Project description: Arduino polls DHT11 and a rain detection panel, displays local status on a 16×2 LCD, and publishes readings to the Raspberry Pi which is online via on‑board Wi‑Fi, sending data to IOTGecko for storage and live dashboards accessible from any browser. The system targets public information, marine route planning, fisheries, and disaster relief teams needing reliable real‑time weather telemetry over the internet.​
