Develop an IoT-enabled smart shopping cart that automatically scans items, calculates the bill, and allows for seamless cashless payment without standing in long queues. The system will integrate barcode/RFID scanning with a mobile or web-based interface to enhance customer shopping experience.
Project Description
The IoT-Based Smart Shopping Cart uses an RFID or barcode scanner to detect products placed in the cart. A microcontroller processes the data and updates the total bill in real time on an attached display or connected mobile app. Through Wi-Fi or Bluetooth connectivity, the cart links to the store’s billing system for instant checkout and digital payment. Additional features like product location guidance, offers display, and voice assistance can be integrated to further improve usability and shopping efficiency.
