Develop an IoT-enabled smart plant monitoring system that continuously tracks soil moisture, temperature, light, and provides automated irrigation, fertilization prompts, and remote monitoring to ensure optimal plant health and yield.
Project Description
The IoT-Based Smart Plant Monitoring System combines soil moisture sensors, environmental sensors, and actuated water/fertilizer control with cloud connectivity to maintain ideal growing conditions. Sensor data (soil moisture, temperature, humidity, light intensity) is transmitted to a cloud dashboard for real-time visualization and analytics. Based on configurable thresholds, the system activates pumps/valves for irrigation or fertilization, sends alerts to the user. The web dashboard allows scheduling, manual override, and remote monitoring — suitable for home gardens, greenhouses, and small farms.
