Develop an IoT-based smart garden system that automates plant watering, monitors soil moisture, temperature, and environmental conditions, while allowing users to control and monitor their garden remotely via a smartphone. This project promotes efficient water usage and healthy plant growth, making gardening smarter and easier.
Project Description
The IoT-Based Smart Garden system utilizes a Node MCU ESP32 microcontroller connected to soil moisture sensors, temperature & humidity sensors (DHT22), and a water pump. Based on real-time soil moisture data, the system automatically waters plants when needed and transmits garden status to a cloud platform (Blynk). Users can monitor environmental conditions, control watering manually, and receive alerts via a smartphone app. Solar power can be integrated for sustainable outdoor operation, making it ideal for home gardens, balconies, and small-scale farms.
