Project Description
The IoT-Based Smart Flood Monitoring System uses an ultrasonic water level sensor connected to a NodeMCU ESP8266/ESP32 microcontroller to measure rising water levels. The data is transmitted in real-time to a cloud platform (Blynk, Firebase, or ThingSpeak) via Wi-Fi. When water levels exceed safe thresholds, the system triggers instant alerts via SMS, app notifications, or alarms. The system can also log historical data to analyze flood patterns. A solar-powered option ensures continuous operation in remote locations. This project is ideal for government bodies, disaster management agencies, and community flood monitoring initiatives.
