Project Idea
Build an IoT-enabled industrial gas leak detection system that continuously measures hazardous gases, triggers instant local and remote alarms, and logs data to the cloud. The goal is to prevent accidents, minimize downtime, and simplify safety compliance across plants and warehouses.

 

Project Description
The IoT-Based Industrial Gas Leakage Detection System combines high-sensitivity gas sensors (electrochemical/MQ series), an ESP32 gateway, and cloud connectivity to monitor concentrations of LPG, methane, hydrogen, CO, and VOCs in real time. Threshold logic activates siren/strobe and can cut power/valves via relays, while SMS/app alerts notify staff. A web/mobile dashboard shows live ppm, trends, sensor health, and event history, with calibration reminders and self-test routines. Optional multi-node deployment enables zone mapping and faster leak localization, improving response and maintenance planning.
