Project Idea:
A compact, handheld radar‑gun‑style system for measuring human running speed using IR gates. Two IR transmitter–receiver pairs placed at fixed start and end points detect when a person passes. The 8051 microcontroller measures elapsed time and computes speed, which is then displayed on an LCD.
