Build a GPS-based vehicle tracking system that allows real-time location monitoring of cars, bikes, or delivery vehicles. Using GPS technologies, the system continuously fetches the vehicle's coordinates and sends location data via SMS. This project helps improve security, optimize fleet management, and recover stolen vehicles by tracking their live position.
Project Description
This GPS tracking system uses a GPS module (NEO-6M) to obtain the real-time location of a vehicle and an Arduino Uno to process the data. A GSM module (SIM800L) is used to send the latitude and longitude as an SMS to a predefined mobile number. The system is powered by a 12V battery, making it suitable for mobile deployment. It can also be integrated with Google Maps to show the exact location. This compact, low-power system is ideal for both personal and commercial vehicle tracking solutions.
