A long-range teleoperated spy robot uses DTMF over a phone call to receive keypad commands for drive control while integrating an inductive metal detector for on-spot metal sensing and a night‑vision mini camera for live visuals on a PC client.
Project description
An AT89S52 microcontroller decodes MT8870 DTMF outputs to drive an L293D H‑bridge for forward, reverse, left, and right motion on a compact 2WD chassis, while a proximity metal sensor triggers a buzzer alert upon metal detection.
Power is supplied by a 12 V 1.3 Ah lead‑acid battery regulated to 5 V via a 7805, and a mini night‑vision Wi‑Fi camera streams video suitable for PC viewing, enabling day/night reconnaissance irrespective of user distance.
