Project Idea
Unlock and control a garage or gate remotely using any basic mobile phone by entering a numeric password during a call, leveraging DTMF (dual-tone multi-frequency) technology for secure, hands-free access.

 

Project Description
This project automates opening and closing of a garage door via mobile phone keypad. The user calls a dedicated phone attached to the system and enters a specific password; the DTMF decoder IC converts keypad tones to digital signals, which are verified by the 8051 microcontroller. When correct, the microcontroller activates a motor driver to open or close the door—a solution that eliminates manual operation and increases convenience.
