Project Description
This home automation system utilizes DTMF (Dual Tone Multi-Frequency) technology to remotely control home appliances via phone calls. The system eliminates the necessity to manually operate wall switches by allowing users to dial designated numbers linked to particular loads. When a call is received by the mobile phone connected to the system, the decoded DTMF signals trigger relay drivers to switch appliances ON or OFF. This design avoids microcontroller usage by employing DTMF Decoder, De-Multiplexer, Flip-Flop ICs, and relay drivers, powered by a 12V transformer. The system demonstrates control via lamps simulating AC loads.
