Project Idea

Build a system that scans barcodes and displays the decoded information on an LCD using Arduino. This project demonstrates how barcode data can be captured and processed for display or further use in applications like inventory management, library systems, or product identification.

 

Project Description

This project uses an Arduino Uno, TTL barcode scanner, and a 16x2 LCD display to create a simple barcode scanning system. When a barcode is scanned, the data is sent to the Arduino, which processes and displays the information on the LCD screen. The system works in real-time and can be integrated into larger automation setups or educational demonstrations. It’s easy to build, requiring minimal wiring and no complex coding, making it ideal for learning about data interfacing and embedded display systems.
