Design an IoT-based automated pet feeder that allows pet owners to dispense food remotely via a smartphone app. The system can be scheduled to feed pets at specific times and quantities, with real-time notifications and monitoring, making it ideal for busy pet owners and ensuring pets are fed even when unattended.
Project Description
The IoT-Based Automated Pet Feeder uses a NodeMCU ESP8266 microcontroller to control a servo motor-driven dispensing mechanism. Users can control feeding operations through an IoT platform like Blynk, setting feeding schedules or dispensing food on demand. A load cell sensor can be integrated to monitor the amount of food dispensed. The system connects via Wi-Fi and sends real-time updates to the user’s smartphone, ensuring timely feeding, portion control, and remote monitoring.
