Project Idea:
Design an Arduino-based system that gives users flexible control over a stepper motor, enabling precise rotational manipulation in three different modes: continuous rotation, precise quarter-turn increments, and manual step control via an optical encoder.
Project Description:
This controller uses an Arduino Uno with an LCD display, NEMA stepper motor, driver, an optical encoder, tactile switches, and essential circuitry to create a robust, multi-mode stepper motor controller. Users can switch between continuous, quarter-rotation, and manual modes for flexible, accurate control—ideal for training, automation tasks, and engineering projects.
Features:
Three stepper control modes: Full, Quarter, Manual
Real-time step display
Direction and increment control switches
Encoder-based manual operation
Audible and visual status feedback
Compact and modular build
Applications:
