Project idea
Build a two-wheel-drive cleaning robot that receives movement, sprayer, and pad control commands over Bluetooth from an Android app to make quick remote spot-cleaning effortless.
Use an 8051 development board to decode HC‑05 UART commands and drive BO motors via an L293D module, while a 3–6 V mini submersible pump sprays water through attached pipes ahead of the pads.
Project description
An HC‑05 module pairs with an Android transmitter app and streams commands over SPP/UART to the 8051 board, which actuates the motor driver for forward, reverse, turn, and stop actions and toggles the sprayer output.
The robot is built on a 2WD acrylic chassis with BO gear motors and a caster, carrying a small water tank, 3–6 V pump with tube, cleaning pads, and on-board power via a 12 V/2 A adapter to regulated rails for logic and actuation as designed.
