The Android Controlled Pick and Place Robotic Arm Vehicle is a mobile robotic system that integrates wireless Bluetooth control with a robotic arm mechanism. It is designed to pick and place lightweight objects using a soft gripper system while being maneuvered wirelessly via an Android smartphone. This project combines mobility with automation, making it practical for educational, industrial, and domestic use.
Project Description
This robotic system features a robotic arm mounted on a vehicle chassis, capable of handling pick and place operations. The robot is wirelessly controlled through an Android application using Bluetooth connectivity. The 8051 microcontroller processes commands received from the mobile phone and controls the DC motors for vehicle movement as well as the arm and gripper functions. The Android device serves as a flexible remote control, enabling smooth navigation forward, backward, left, and right, along with precision control of the robotic arm.
The project demonstrates concepts of embedded systems, wireless communication, motor control, and robotics integration, making it suitable for engineering students and robotics enthusiasts.
