Project idea
Build an embedded safety system that fuses alcohol sensing, impact/vibration, temperature/fire, tilt/rollover, GPS positioning, and GSM messaging to alert designated contacts in real time and store synchronized telemetry on an SD card for investigators.
Project description
An Arduino Mega reads MQ-3 alcohol levels, vibration (SW-420), temperature, gyroscope tilt, rain/water ingress, and motor speed to detect risky events, then sends SMS via SIM800L with live GPS coordinates and starts high-frequency logging to a microSD module for later retrieval. The system also flags overspeeding, fire, rollover, and drunk driving, logs event timelines, and demonstrates engine control using two DC motors and a trimpot-based speed limit threshold.
