Project Idea:
This project measures the distance of an object using an Ultrasonic Sensor interfaced with an 8051 Microcontroller. The measured distance is displayed on a 16x2 LCD in real time. It is useful for obstacle detection, parking assistance, and industrial automation.
Project Description:
The system uses an Ultrasonic Sensor (HC-SR04) that sends ultrasonic waves and measures the time taken for the echo to return. The 8051 microcontroller calculates the distance based on the time delay and speed of sound. The result is displayed on a 16x2 LCD. The project is powered by a regulated DC supply.
This prototype demonstrates how ultrasonic sensing can be applied for distance measurement, safety applications, and automation systems.
