MC14071 is Quad 2-Input OR Gate 14 Pin IC. The MC14071 provides 4 independent 2-input OR gates with standard push-pull outputs. The device is designed for operation with a power supply range of 5.0V to 18.0V. When operating at 5V the maximum low-level input voltage is 0.5 and the minimum high-level input voltage is 4.5V. It utilizes advanced silicon-gate CMOS technology to achieve operating speeds similar to LS-TTL gates with the low power consumption of standard CMOS integrated circuits. It has buffered outputs, providing high noise immunity and the ability to drive 10 LS-TTL loads. All 4 gates share the same power rail but can operate independently. All inputs are protected from damage due to static discharge by internal diode clamps to VCC and ground. Other options include AND gate, NAND Gate, NOR gate, XOR Gate, etc.
