Develop an IoT-based smart thermostat that monitors room temperature and allows users to remotely control heating or cooling appliances via a smartphone. The system automates climate control based on user-defined temperature thresholds, enhancing energy efficiency and providing personalized comfort in homes, offices, and smart buildings.
Project Description
The IoT-Based Smart Thermostat uses a DHT11 sensor to continuously monitor ambient temperature and humidity. A NodeMCU based microcontroller processes this data and sends it to a cloud platform(Blynk) or to a custom webserver. Users can remotely adjust temperature setpoints and control connected appliances like heaters, fans, or air conditioners through a mobile app. The system automates appliance control based on real-time temperature readings, ensuring optimal comfort while saving energy.
