Technical Details:
- Proximity Detection: The ultrasonic sensor emits ultrasonic waves and measures the time taken for the waves to return after reflecting off an object. If the measured distance is below a predefined threshold, the Arduino triggers the servo motor to open the lid.
- Fill Level Measurement: The ultrasonic sensor is mounted inside the dustbin, facing downwards. The distance between the sensor and the waste surface is measured, and the fill level is calculated based on this distance.
- Data Processing: The Arduino processes the sensor data, performs necessary calculations, and controls the servo motor and LCD display.
