The 74LS32 is a Dual Input OR Gate with a Quad package. It contains four independent gates each of which performs the logic OR function. Each gate has two inputs that’s why it is named Quad 2-Input OR Gate. It has 12 input output pins for a total of four OR gates. To use the 74LS32 Logic gate IC, just power it using the Vcc and GND pins. The typical operating voltage of the IC is +5V, but it can also be operated at +7V. The output voltage of the IC on pin Y will be equal to the operating voltage of the IC. It can be used in forming basic logic gate circuits, encoders and decoders, multiplexers and demultiplexers, and oscillator circuits.
